Bad move by Bolton. But Trump kicking him out the door the way he did never made sense to me. It simply increased the risk that Bolton would want revenge. Well the revenge came.

Would a softer agreed to dismissing of Bolton avoided this. Maybe, maybe not. I doubt we will every know.

Revenge is killing the other guy. Stupidity is taking out yourself. Bolton just proved Trump was right to fire him.

But Tru.p placed the Progs in the ridiculous position of defending a guy and his policies that they have been linking n.v to Hitler the last ten fifteen years. And Trump will let them continue until he tweets the incoherence of their attacks.

Trump said he accepted Bolton’s resignation. He didn’t say Bolton was fired.

But the media played it that way, causing stupid Bolton to run to the media and Twitter to say he wasn’t fired—he resigned.

Bolton could have stopped this before he looked stupid, but it seems he’s no where near as smart with the media as Trump is.

Stupid Bolton.

Bolton attacking Trump broadens Trump’s appeal. He also gets to keep bringing up that Bolton wanted to go into Iraq and he was against it.

I think a “softer, gentler” approach would be advisable on any dismissals made by President Trump. And although he is hamstrung by the lamestream media and has to take to twitter to get his message out to the people, this should also be toned down and done less frequently. Sometimes it’s advantageous to let the opposition “guess” what your next move is.
