Ironic how many Christian homes will unknowingly serve halal meats sacrificed to Allah, on Christian holidays.
Paul deals with this subject. Essentially, it is okay to eat meat sacrificed to idols, idols are nothing, and good meat cannot be ruined in this manner. So for the Christian, this is lawful — unless it should upset another Christian who, for example, views it as unclean which it is in Jewish law, or for some other reason of his own. I don’t recall the chapter and verse, but this is discussed in letters to the Corinthians (not sure whether first or second.)
