Interesting about Vitamin C. Have you ever seen it (or any other vitamin/dosage) help with migraines? I have a friend who really has terrible problems with them. She’s even trying a few Botox injections, gives just short-time relief. But she’s desperate. She’s tried everything through the years. I’m hoping she won’t mess her face up with Botox,,pretty girl.
When I read your question the first item that popped into my mind was Vitamin B6. Then I decided to Google, and here is a link for a number of articles on nutrition and migraine. B6 was one of the 5 most mentioned. If you want to private message me with more information, I can do some more research. It would be useful to know how often she gets them, what time of day, what foods she eats frequently, can she isolate any food as a trigger, etc. How old was she when the headaches started, was there an accident, tragedy or other factor that started them or made them more serious. Does she have other illnesses or problems and how old is she, etc. Also, does she know what kind of birth she had, long delivery time, forceps delivery, etc. In my own case I had suffered from continual nausea for 4 months with my first pregnancy. My second pregnancy I had read Adelle Davis’ book “Let’s Eat Right to Keep Fit,” and had begun taking targeted supplements. I started taking 25 mgs. a day of B6 with the second pregnancy and never had any nausea until one day I forgot to take my vitamins.
Dr. Eric Berg has a bunch of youtube videos on the causes of migraines.
