Dayum! Good timing for the homeowner. Bad timing for the encyclopedia salesmen (perps).
Could also be as simple as no Alarm system signs, no “Beware of Dog” signs, no outside lights on. These three clowns could have casing the guy’s home for days before deciding to move on it. Looked “soft” so they tried a hit on it.
And paid for it.
That is the important question. Three out of three is good shooting. Was this all shot placement by someone with a lot of range time? Was this 11 shots each by a man with a Glock 17 and a 33-round magazine? Or was it the right load for the job delivered in moderate numbers by someone who was an adequate shot? In any case, I'd be happy to buy this humanitarian homeowner a beer and another box of ammo.
Well, it was dark, they may have tripped and fallen on some bullets.
The Lab part would step on the invaders foot and hold him until your Great Dane stood on him and drowned him in saliva and gross lickings.
If it were, they would not have covered their faces. So I guess this was the 1 time out of 10. The neighbors spoke highly of the shooter and his elderly mother, who have lived there for many years.
Why the hell not? They might have bought something there before and came back later. I know i would.
Believe what you want. Also you’ll find that they happen in waves, and when the culprit(s) gets rounded up they stop in short order.
We’ve had several and the persons doing it were 99% drug customers of the victim and some Pay-Me what you owe me deals.
What criminal is going to break into a random home with no guarantee of cash or drugs when they already know of a place that meets that very bill.
Wear masks? Hell yes, you may go buy some drugs from them tomorrow with his own money.
Conyers and Covington are two towns that have gone downhill fast in the last 5-10 years. Lots of city folks moving out there and bringing their bad habits with them. I know more than a few folks that have moved out of that area due to the problems that are moving into formerly quiet neighborhoods.
J. Beresford Tipton always sent Michael Anthony to deliver the check and Anthony was always impeccably dressed and would never cover his face.
They don’t call Rockdale County, East Dekalb for nothing.
That county is quickly looking like Clayton County.
Statistics from the US Department of Justice indicate something different.
Age of "Head of Household" when victim present at burglary (Home Invasion)
Data current as of 2015.
"Households composed of single females with children had the highest rate of burglary while someone was home."
Not at all what I would have expected.
What?
The original article must have been modified.
I cannot find any mention of masks in the link provided.
This was a 3/4 majority white zip code, according to city-data.com, with a nearby McDonalds, however. The house was at the end of a cul-de-sac surrounded by woods. So I'd say at first glance it was a planned robbery based, to the "alleged" robbers, on how easy it looked like it would be.
I remember Mr Anthony, but don’t think I ever saw the Tipton guy?
You never saw him but when Anthony went into Tipton’s office all you saw was the back of his chair.
The headline starts out calling them "young males," but farther down in the text they are referred to as "men." A neighbor who is running for county office and lives down the street told the reporter they were allegedly 15 or 16 years old. But if a 15 oo 16-year-old is shot by police during the commission of a crime, or if a 15 oo 16-year-old poc is shot by a white person, they are a "child."
What if its a billionaire wanting to give you an anonymous gift of $1,000,000?
He would send his attorney, who would not wear a mask.
All masks mean is they are 1.37% smarter than guys who do home invasions without masks.
