You can’t “buy back” something you never owned in the first place.

Buying something, whether you owned it before (buying it back) or not, necessarily implies that the transaction is voluntary on both sides. Irish Bob, AKA Beta, is not talking about anything voluntary.

Oh, and generally speaking, I won’t sell anything unless I can get another item that is either functionally identical, or very close to that. Beta isn’t going to allow any of us to sell our guns voluntarily for market value, and then go and buy a newer and/or better one with the proceeds. This is compulsory commerce, this is stealing property and the denial of basic rights. It violates the Constitution on numerous grounds, and is morally repugnant (as is he, himself).

Beta can go and screw himself or, if he finds that difficult, have Mayor Buttplug do it for him. I won’t be sad to see both of these anti-American jackholes disappear from the political scene.
