I agree with Rand Paul on this.
Give Saudi Arabia logistic support. but let them handle it. They have 58 million people and piles of money
Randy is intentionally interfering with Trump’s bargaining. He knows what he is doing. It is anti American. It is interfering in foreign affairs.
Never take a motormouth to a flea market; they’ll screw up your haggling, and if they’re your mother in law, they’ll do it on purpose.
Randy is a vindictive mother in law.
Trump has no intention of getting us involved, he will sell Saudi Arabia more of our equipment though to defend themselves.
rand never met a CNN camera he didn’t like.
Pound sand Rand
We are not an isolationist country. Iran poses a threat to everyone.
Trump has shown no sign of wanting war. Iran on the other hand.....
Remember Clinton did everything to avoid war ( except to protect mussies in Bosnia). True of Obama
So many of these yobs are the same ones who screamed bloody murder when Trump was going to meet with the Taliban
If he’s genuinely ‘locked & loaded’...one can only imagine the nature of Bolton’s disagreement with Trump.
Rand Paul is a pussy. He let his own neighbor kick his ass.
Wow, I like Rand but the only choices the USA has is an all out war and doing nothing? Really? How many idiots are falling for that?
This is the time to pull together a NATO-type coalition headed by Egypt to wipe out Iran, with US support of intelligence, air and material - only.
Other than satellite imaging, I suspect the Egyptian, Jordan Saudi intelligence is as good or better than ours.
“It destabilized the Middle East and increased the strength of Iran and tipped the balance toward Iran, the Senator added.”
I almost always laugh at him as his theories on political stance are so stupid they are comical. Other times, I realize part of the country voted for him and I’m sad for them.
The destabilizing of a rogue state in the middle east has been going on for a thousand years without our help. What’s another one since we can’t stop them from trying.
We do this in the US. It’s called crime and punishment. And when the crime gets so horrible, the punishment becomes as extreme as the crime to let others know that will happen. And it slows it a little. And a few lives are saved.
Same thing in the middle east. Someone acts out, the US punishes them financially with trade, they escalate, the punishment becomes harder, it reaches a state where countries like the US have to step in and stop it. Same thing in Iraq. Not new.
Did we learn that it won’t change things? Some think that way. But how many lives have been saved to include our country’s in the mean time?
Jimmy Carter did it differently. He sold weapons to Iraq to hit Iran with. But someone is going to have to sooner or later. And thanks to Obama’s actions it is going to have to be sooner. But right now, Trump is doing everything he can to keep from it.
So how stupid is Paul for saying Trump is escalating something? Trump didn’t start this, but together with other countries we may have to finish it. And we can reach going back to square one again before Obama.

If -- and it is a big if -- Iran was responsible for trying to disrupt world oil supply, it needs to be slapped down. Some well-placed bombs, not an all-out war, can accomplish that.
Rand needs an injection of testosterone. He's totally unfit to be ever be President. His foreign policy would be indistinguishable from Bill Clinton's.
Love that Rand is there to keep Trump in check. Love that he went after the Cheneys.
Relax, Rand. Trump’s got this. The forces that attacked the Saudi’s are the same forces that will do anything they can to derail an Iranian peace deal. There are forces within Iran that would like to sabotage a peace deal with Trump. Don’t view Iran as a monolith. Their government has factions just like our own. Trump is negotiating with the moderates while CIA/Gloablist elements in Iran wish to derail any such deal. President Trump is too smart to be lured into a generalized attack on Iran that would cause significant civilian damage or cause political harm to the Iranian moderates who would like to make a peace deal with Trump. Instead he will direct any response towards those militant factions within Iran that are responsible for the attacks.
