Iran launched nearly a dozen cruise missiles and over 20 drones from its territory in the attack on a key Saudi oil facility Saturday, a senior Trump administration official told ABC News Sunday.
It is an extraordinary charge to make, that Iran used missiles and drones to attack its neighbor and rival Saudi Arabia, as the region teeters on the edge of high tensions.
President Donald Trump warned the U.S. was "locked and loaded" to respond to the attack on Sunday, waiting for verification of who was responsible and for word from Saudi Arabia on how to proceed.

If Iran truly poses an existential threat to the US I have no problem with reducing the entire country to glowing radioactive glass. But they didn’t attack us. They allegedly attacked Saudi Arabia.

You should remember that the only Iraqi war plane shot down in the Gulf war (Desert Storm ?)was downed by a Saudi F 15 pilot.

We probably agree there is no need for the U.S. to respond. It is well past time for the Saudis to protect their own interests.
Saudi has a long history of relying on Uncle Sam for actual defens of its strategic interests. (Kuwait, Iraq, Iran). I would like to see a few more Suadi martyrs to their homeland, and few to none of ours.
Deep State CIA operatives probably pulled off this attack in efforts to get POTUS to respond militarily against Iran. John Bolton couldn’t get him to pull the trigger so I guess another false flag attack might do the trick.
