We need term limits with an additional restriction. The children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of politicians cannot run for an elected office nor be appointed to any office at any level for the period of their natural lives.

Also, civil service protections are completely out of hand and need to amended to allow the suspension without pay of employees under investigation and make it easier to terminate their employment with the government and if fired, said person is ineligible for any other government job at any level.

To wit, I came home from church to my downtown apartment in LA on Sunday, 9/8/19 and found an OD on the sidewalk in front of the lobby. I spent 5-10 minutes performing CPR until the fire department arrived. Needless to say, he did not survive, but one of the paramedics told me it was obvious to her that the deceased was a victim of fentanyl overdose.

Homelessness, disease, drugs, mental illness and rats are rampant here. Thinking it’s long past time to relocate.
