This is great. Because of Cas market size they can bully the rest of the country because no major car maker can make a red state version and a blue state version of their car lines. Ca should never have given their special treatment. This is winning.
How about getting rid off that Washington bureaucrat sitting next to me when I go to the john? Free us from low flush toilets Mr. President.
We need less expensive cars to run on AMERICAN oil and gas.
I have opened a gas can full of alcohol gas to have it boil over. Very dangerous.
I agree 100% that there should be a choice. If a person (idiot)wants to run ethanol laced gas then there should be a hose for it. Maybe a hand pump like the old kerosene dispensers.
I do not believe PDJT will buck the corn growers since there are billions of bushels laying around since China is not getting any.
Sure but if in America for Americans they could build a car that shaves off 32% of the cost by eliminating the CAFE standards, Americans will buy them.
“Like it or not, they will need to get near the California standards to stay competitive in the world.”
Uh, no.
Im not so sure that Californias diesel emissions standards applied to the trucking industry overall. I thought it only applies to trucks operating at the ports.
“...Wow, whatever remained of Obamas legacy is being power-washed right from the surface of Government by Pres. Trump...
Anything coming from Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota boy should be sterilized after power washing.
Then handled only with latex gloves and whilst wearing a breathing mask.
Oddly enough E0 is readily available in I Owe Wah.
Casey’s General Stores all along I-80.
“The standards California proposed are likely in line with where China, Japan, Koran, and Europe are headed.”
No they aren’t! The rest of the world is still using cars, trucks, lawn mowers, boat motors, etc that can’t be sold here in America.
[[[add a vent hole by punching a hole or using a fancy aftermarket vent kit. ]]]
I add a valve stem on the opposite end of the spout. Remove the valve core and just use the cap to open it when pouring.
My local farm and home store (Atwoods) sells universal replacement gas can spouts (for “replacement use” only).
It comes with a “replacement” vent that snaps into a existing 1/2 inch hole.
They are absolutely NOT for use on the new gas cans with a freshly emptied, filled with water and safely drilled 1/2 inch hole.
Does that mean, Nevada will not be coerced to pay $1 more per gallon than the rest of the country to pay for Californias boutique fuel blends?
then after the gas cans, get gas stations to sell non-ethanol gas.
...
Absolutely, but President Trump fully supports the ethanol scam. I guess it’s politics.
I have no financial interest in these. I do have several and they work great.
I have a local station that sells non ethanol. It’s all they sell. Costs a little more, but my boat and lawn mower and truck like it.
The Mazda Skyactiv Diesel engine met US standards but came just a little shy of soon-to-be expected California emissions. Of course, VW lied that theirs met both California and US standards, but Mazda politely said they had no idea how to do what VW claimed.
We all get screwed by California.
