Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel might head to a military operation in the Gaza Strip before elections take place, Channel 13 reported on Friday morning, upon returning from a visit to Russia, saying that such an act "could happen at any moment."
This statement came just one day after Netanyahu said that "it looks like there will be no other choice but to embark on a wide-scale campaign in Gaza." The prime minister spoke with Reshet Bet shortly before flying out to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi.
Netanyahu additionally spoke about his meeting with Putin in the later report by Channel 13, saying that he did not condemn the "annexation statement" about the Jordan Valley.
Netanyahu said that he had "an excellent meeting with Russian Defense Minister Shoigu, and afterwards a long and private meeting with Putin."
Putin, during their meeting, said that the results of the Knesset election are very important to Moscow, and it hopes the politicians elected will maintain close ties with Russia.

I hope during his meeting with Putin that Netanyahu spoke with him about all the Russian-made military equipment they’re sending to Syria - which in turn, is ending up in the hands of Hezbollah and the Iranians.
Netanyahu and Putin are close, having met and spent a lot of time with each other in the last couple years. Bibi even using posters of him with Putin like the poster of him and Trump in the Israel election campaign.

A real shame that Pooty doesn’t value that friendship and will turn on him one day after his dark thought & scheme.
Netanyahu will never leave office as long as the Iranian existential threat to Israel remains. He will consider his career a failure if the “death to Israel” Iranian regime with a nuclear capability remains intact. He must be very sure he will win this upcoming election.
The best solution would be to push them all into the Mediterranean and see if they could swim - but that would not be politically correct.
Bounce the rubble.

But then all the fish in the Med would die.

Putin probably gave Netanyahu the specs to make it easier for the IAF to destroy the systems.
Polls must be going against him.
I have a very bad feeling Bibi is going down next week. The Deep State is in full throttle against him, as the ridiculously fake news about Israel “bugging the White House” demonstrates.
That is a very good point there.
Right now, it certainly doesn’t look good for him at the moment.
