Aside, I really miss Powers Boothe. Got my first exposure to him when he portrayed Jim Jones and shortly thereafter the downed pilot in Red Dawn and Philip Marlowe, have loved his work ever since.
Unfortunately another who died too young as a victim of pancreatic cancer.
He was great in “Red Dawn”. I also saw him in “By Dawn’s Early Light” though it was predictably skewed.
Some rebels steal an SS-25 (happens every day, of course), take it across the border and take out Donetsk.
The Russians accidentally shoot back at America, so America shots back and it’s on like Donkey Kong.
Rebecca DeMornay saves the day by insisting the B-52 turn around and not take out Soviet sites. I won’t give any more spoilers but yeah, it’s kinda stupid.
One of these days I’ll have to watch him with Johnny Ringo - I’ve only seen a few clips.

Bad video quality
He was also really good as the vice and later president in 24.
