The judge should rule that if you’re a politician, you have to be ready to take a lot of flak. If you are subject to emotional distress whenever someone rips into you, maybe you should find another job.
If he sues the women who accused him it would look like he’s abusing them again. He is hoping for an out of court payoff, er, settlement to cash out and go away from someone who has big pockets. I hope it gets widespread coverage, but I’m not holding my breath.
