I have long observed that many US politicians "hoard their political capital" by making easy decisions even when their popularity is high. Apparently, one must "reserve" that political capital for the day when you "really need it" (which never comes). Most US politicians are never willing to make hard decisions.

President Trump is different. He actually cares about the country, and he does the right thing.
