Obama did a number on the oil economy and he was a lazy piece of ****. These goofs are serious about wrecking one of this country’s largest industries.
I believe that the low info voter would understand and react to shutting the oil industry, than socialism.
The reason that oil isn’t $200 a barrel and the world economy in a major depression is because the US is producing 12 million barrels of oil a day and HUGE amounts of natural gas.
Warren and all the rest are promising to make that plummet to the 3 million a day we were doing two decades ago and crush the natural gas production as well.
It will literally be the equivalent of an EMP attack if our energy production is cut by 2/3 - which is an optimistic scenario based on what they are promising to do. Without US energy production at its current levels the whole world is in deep guano. It would make the Great Depression look like a recession. This is the main reason they are so rabid about getting our guns. They know that their promises, if carried out, will cause severe social unrest.
