I hear ya...I’ve been generally unsettled all day and have been watching the shows that I linked on my table because they keep it very real. We can’t afford to forget.
I’ve been watching documentaries all day and still am.
I did have to leave for a while this afternoon to grocery shop. While in Tullahoma, I came to the intersection where the fire hall is. They had their ladder truck parked outside with the ladder fully extended. Hanging from the top was a large American flag and hanging from that was a fireman’s axe. I had to sit at the stop sign for a minute until my vision cleared enough to be able to drive. Tears.
It was a very nice tribute.
