It’s old, old international law. Leftists desperately want this to never be clarified. Here’s why.
1. If Mexico is a safe country, then all the ‘refugees’ from Central and South America - and elsewhere - have to apply for and receive asylum in Mexico and should not come anywhere near the US. Mexico would have to support them, not US.
2. If Mexico is *not* a safe country, then we desperately need to put up a wall to keep out the strife in Mexico and carefully vet refugees attempting to enter from Mexico.
Either way, we should not be getting anywhere near the numbers we are and would be justified in keeping out the Democrat voting ‘refugees’.
It’s not old international law....It’s part of our immigration laws.
