They were actively involved in the Marine barracks bombing in Lebanon, 9/11 and actively supported al queda and shiite attacks against our troops in Iraq.
They attempted to bomb a Saudi right here in the US.
Hezbollah is actively involved in running drugs into the US.

The U.S. has effectively been "at war" with Iran since we helped Great Britain topple the elected government of Iran for British Petroleum in 1953.
