In the short term, yes. Trump's win will be significant and we'll keep our Republic for four more years.

It won't be a blowout however, as there are just two many voters in this country who would vote for a mangey three-legged dog or a comatose patient with dementia if it had a "D" next to its name. Warren's campaign would further push the Democrat party to the left, particularly on economics. Eventually the Dems will win another one and their platform will be that much further to the left when they do.

Good post there. And I agree that a Trump - Warren matchup would not be a Trump blowout.

Hell, I can even see Warren winning (don’t kill the messenger). The Democrats will use every dirty trick in the book for 2020. Voter fraud, ballot stuffing, etc. Remember those precincts that voted 100% for Obama? There was not a single GOP or third-party vote recorded there!
