President Trump announced Tuesday that John Bolton was leaving his post as national security adviser, citing disagreements between the two over how the administration should tackle key foreign policy challenges. You can take or leave 1 through 4, but I think they nail it with number 5. Bolton isn't going to go away quietly and there are any number of media outlets who will give him a forum to trash the President.

So tired of this Shiite. During the Bush administration it was 24/7 all things neocon were bad. Warmongers!! Bush lied, people died!!

Now suddenly it will be “all things neocon are great.” War war war. Nuke the Russians, Iranians and NORKS.

The democrat party and their sycophants have become the contrarian party.

If Bush had decided not to invade Iraq, you can bet the democrats would have been calling him a coward and screaming about WMD.

Bolton never met a war he thought was a bad idea, and has been opposed to the non interventionist aims of the Trump administration.

I don’t know why anyone would write such a verbose analysis of a rudimentary disagreement which is easily summed up in a single sentence.

President Trump is going to have an interesting road ahead of him on this. He could get a ton of mileage during the 2020 campaign by pointing out that he fired a war-mongering globalist D.C. Swamp jackass like Bolton, but then he’d leave a lot of voters wondering why he ever hired the jackass in the first place.

Number 2 is eye-raising too, if it’s accurate. If Pompeo’s influence does increase with Bolton’s being dumped then I think it makes it even less likely that he’ll run for the Kansas senate seat that Roberts is vacating. That could make it interesting.

“After the president trumpeted Bolton’s departure on Twitter, shockwaves coursed through the Beltway.”

Shockwaves?, Really Brett and Olivia? Shockwaves?

The egos of the people that live, and report on the people that live in that shithole, is laughable. These writers think they’re still writing for their high school paper. Pathetic.

Bolton’s behavior proves that firing him was the correct thing to do.

It's worth a verbose analysis in one respect: Why the hell did Trump ever hire him the first place? The dope was tailor-made for a top cabinet post in a JEB BUSH administration.

Here's my TWO sentence analysis -- which I posted on Free Republic back in early 2017 when Bolton was being peddled around this website as an ideal candidate to replace Michael Flynn:

"I voted for Donald Trump because I was tired of Ivy League globalist pr!cks running this nation’s foreign policy. Anyone who still thinks the invasion of Iraq was a good idea shouldn’t even be allowed to clean the toilets in the White House."

Trump is gonna be cast in a bad light by the DBM by breathing as he swings his feet to the ground in the morning getting out of bed.

It is all background noise, with them hoping something, anything will stick and take him down a notch.

Trump has the right idea for getting milage....Making America Great Again, full speed, never looking back and not worried what the pukes in their glass offices with a microphone have cooked up this time.

The American people see through the charade.

Trump hired people from both sides to get their input, in the end Trump decided to go against Bolton, and Bolton threw a hissy fit.

That Bolton will not fade away quietly, and I can't disagree with that. He's going to let loose in Trump and whoever replaces him.
