I use it; but then I'm kind of a "nerd" when it comes to having a good vocabulary and using it.

Sadly, English is slowly dying because so few people have even a vaguely decent vocabulary now. Many of the once commonly used words are now complete mysteries to most; which is terrible, because these words are much more "evocative" and useful than the stupid gutter slang that far too many now use.
