Sorry...it was sort of a joke, alluding to the old Southern "POLL TAX" ( which was used to keep blacks from voting and hasn't existed for about 50+ years now ) and I should have ended with a "/s".

But yes, America's "poor" have all kinds of "stuff", that would ordinarily classify them as NOT poor at all.
