I still mourn the loss of states like Virginia, Colorado and Nevada. I believe all 3 were Red States not that long ago. And New Hampshire is NOT a Red State, contrary to some popular opinion.
It IS damn scary what's been happening the past few elections. Some FReepers think even Texas may turn Blue in the not-too-distant future. God help us when that happens...

The leftist brainwashing began 50 years ago in American institutions. That, coupled with Ted Kennedy’s coup on immigration which has flooded the country with illegals with the majority voting for the Rats who promise them the moon, does not bode well for this country not going full blown socialist in the next few years. No empire last forever and socialism will be the destruction of this country. I’ll probably be dead so I’ll miss it, but my children and grandchildren, along with everyone else’s are in for a hell on earth. It’s going happen, how soon no one knows.
