I wonder what the latest total of cig smokers and all other associated Methods of administering “poison”.
They will manage to include them and Fake Opioid Crisis all in one. HIV is next.
Never mind the 1+Million who die of Diabetes a year. Insulin just keeps climbing in prices and no generic in site that actually is effective or the pills with horrid side effects. I watch my Eldest struggle with Type 2, pills made him sick, dehydrated, diarrhea. Yeah, he lost weight following the diet, but it is not sustainable when you work 10-12 hrs a day 6 days a week. And you are 47.
Technically some styles of hookahs are vaping, so there is that too.
We used to fry a turkey every Thanksgiving, until they said fried food was bad.
We switched to smoking a turkey, until they said it was bad.
So we’d planned to vape our turkey this year.
Now that’s bad too!

The media is out of control, I'll bet there are more than 6 deaths per weekend in Chicago, and not a word of concern from the media.

Some earlier articles on this hysteria mentioned that the deaths came from vaping cannabis products, not unflavored nicotine products. I now see no distinctions being made.
Also, (IDK) are these prepackaged pods of tubes or the kind of vape pens that use home brewed mixtures? There are a dizzying array of pastes/oils/whatever they are advertised for vaping.

Drama Queen Much? Tens of Thousands of people vape. And 6 have died. Assume all six are directly related to vaping.
And this is a Death Toll?
Sheesh.
Obviously one or more fairly novel or recently modified products are problematical.
The government may wish to go through the dead peoples’ abodes and wallets and find the receipts and packages.
I believe most vaping users vape tobacco based stuff. These people are probably addicted to nicotine. It’s not likely they can stop, but would have to switch to cigarettes.
The government and the news media need to get a grip on reality.
