The good news is that we dodged a bullet with this guy in 2012.
The bad news is that we got Obama.
The good news is that it set the stage for Trump.
That's true, however let's see what B.O. actually did to gun owners during his 8 years (cue Twilight Zone music, you are about to enter another dimiension):
1:Bumps stocks were ruled as legal by Obama's ATF (as they should be based on current law and the 1934 National Firearms Act)
2: Made it legal to carry loaded firearms in National Parks,reversing a law signed by Reagan.
3:Signed into law a bill that allows Amtrak passengers to carry guns in checked baggage, reversing a law signed by Bush.
4;Made it somewhat easier to obtain NFA firearms by eliminating the requirement to get the chief law enforcement official in your county to sign off on your Federal application. (Before Obama: most chief LEOs would never sign off leaving the individual no option but to form a trust and have the trust apply.)
Also, Obama earned an F from the gun control nuts at the Brady Campaign in 2010.
We live in a bizarre world when the slimiest, most corrupt individual ever to hold office does more for gun owners than the people who we elect because they claim to respect the 2nd amendment.
