I agree that it is a conditioning thing.

But here’s the problem. Open carrying is a hassle. It’s a risk/reward thing. Conceal carry is easier, and I sometimes do when in a high risk area. But open carry is really not all that practical.

I don’t carry my phone on one of those belt clips either.

I think open carry is just dumb.....why give up the element of surprise?
Also, I know that open carry can upset some people. I can understand why a mom picking up a quart of milk at the dairy case, with her baby in the cart, might become flustered at the sight of a cocked and locked 1911 riding on somebody’s hip. I have no interest in frightening people.

Depends largely on what kind of rig you use. Personally, I prefer CC myself, but have no problem with open carry.

I don’t carry my phone on one of those belt clips either.

Why the heck not? They are fabulously fashionable! LOL
