Agreed. I have long felt that concealed carry should require no permit, but open carry should. Here’s my analogy. The 1A protects your right to possess erotica (porno). So if you want to walk around with porno in your pocket or in your briefcase, go right ahead. But pinning it to your shirt, that would be a bit much.

I’m struggling a bit more with that one, but yeah, I think you’re right. Here’s my thinking. I can stand on a public sidewalk and hold a sign saying “Walmart is terrible.” The 1A protects me there. But Walmart most certainly can stop from entering their store with that sign.
