American Revolution and Civil War are great to study. I love history. But I really don’t need more advice on how to sportify a Browning 1911 or how to make a lever-action rifle work like Lucas McCain’s in The Rifleman, or the factory specs on the latest Glock and how it’s better than the last Glock. Wish I owned a gun, but instead my walking stick will have to do for defense.
I see. That makes good sense.
I’m not really in it for the magazines and haven’t read them for some time, although some relatives do. My reason for membership is for the education of anyone who is interested.
Then there’s nraila.org for all who are interested in legislative and judicial efforts. Now is one of those times. There’s no pecuniary benefit for me. But the freedoms are for all of us including me, and more importantly, those who come after me.
There are those who will someday take what they desire by way of the sword (those who live by the sword)—not to be confused with the lions who will run through them.
