GOOD for her! We need many MORE like her running in districts all around the country. Apparently Texas has a lot of GOP retiring and formerly deep red regions are ‘purpling.’

I was fairly well acquainted with Jane Jayroe, Miss America 1967. Met her through a book I wrote. WE got along really well. Then she and I started another book together on Grace. Good Christian woman. She had to stop work on the book because the Governor of her state, Oklahoma, offered her a lucrative job as some sort of state official. As I recall, head of tourism, to bring visitors to the state. Charming, and very bright woman.

Ryan Saavedra, author of this piece has a Twitter account. My cat has her own Twitter account and follows Ryan. VERY bright guy. I’ll check out Twitter tomorrow and see what they think on that huge forum.

Sutton, whose father is a Vietnam war veteran and whose mother is an immigrant from Korea, is a self-described lifelong Republican who strongly supports small business, cutting regulations, the U.S. military, immigrant enforcement, border security, and the Second Amendment.
What is not to like about her, she is a beautiful and smart lady.
I would vote for her.
The stereotype of white males only in the republican party is BS.

Why should being from a line of recent arrivals be played up as some sort of virtue in the first place? Seems a tacit acceptance of the lefty creed that immigrants are better than Americans.
Thanks very much for posting this article. Lots of good questions, and lots of great answers by Ms. Lisa Song Sutton. I highly recommend that FReepers take the time to read it. It does my heart good to see there are freedom loving Americans still willing to run a campaign based on conservative principles.
If Ms. Sutton was running in my district, I would seriously consider supporting her campaign and voting for her. Best of luck to her!

That was over 50 years ago. What are the odds of her being the same type of woman when you consider Lisa Song Sutton is a product of our current education system. Wanna hear her talk, not pose.
