How about: "...an automobile should only be seen when parked in a garage or when rain threatens..."
OR: "... a moslem woman's face should only be seen in the her home or when on her knees in front of her husband when being threatened or abused..."
you show up brandishing a gun to the public I might feel threatened or think others are under threat....being an idiot with a gun is how people get killed... how do I know you are not going to shoot at some one if you present it to be seen. this is how people get shot by mistake by other people with a gun
the examples you give are not even logical to the situation you compare it to....there is only one reason to have a gun out that is to shoot it.
I see you or anyone at the mall or supermarket with a gun out I am going to assume you plan to use it and I will kill or disarm you before you have chance to kill someone...
give me one good reason why you would have a gun out at a grocery store....like I said conceal and carry. brandishing a gun is a reason for someone to kill you.
