I was doing the complete opposite: rather, the subverting of the system that the Founding Fathers set up is what got us the ill results we see around us. I’m familiar with Elbridge’s quote - do not agree with it though, but I will always respect a differing opinion. Ultimately I do believe that representation of the will of the majority matters, but there must be a mechanism that withholds the the tyranny of the majority.
In terms of the “zot” usage, let’s just say I’m a long time lurker. FR is a long history.
