Drew Brees not only plays for the Saints, but many in New Orleans believe that the quarterback for their beloved NFL team is a living saint. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the city, Brees and his teammates became the face of the community. Besides offering the city something to rally over, Brees adopted New Orleans as his hometown and has shown himself to be gracious, charitable, and deeply connected to his community in genuine ways that other celebrities can only attempt to mimic. The celebrated QB is also a devout family man and Christian. Having never shied away from expressing his faith, Brees must be somewhat puzzled to find himself all of a sudden the target of leftists angry over his connection with Focus on the Family.

Brees’ “job is to win games”? Like when their coaches put a bounty on the heads of the opposing team’s quarterbacks? I think the Saints head coach was suspended for a year for that. But winning is all important, no matter who gets hurt I guess.
How much less could you care?
How much less could you care?
Sigh. In reading this, it sounds like Brees was taken advantage of by this organization and used the relationship with him to further their goals in a way he may or may not have agreed with.
He was either put on the spot and lied about his views to protect his standing, put on the spot and tried to obfuscate so that he wouldn't be pilloried or punished by the , or put on the spot and he really sees no problem with homosexuality.
In nearly every way, I lose respect for him. I might not go out of my way to advertise my views on various things, but if asked, I won't lie. So he either supports homosexuality or he lied to protect himself.
Brees is a coward.
I don’t know what is more unpalatable...that he is a coward or that he really is on board with the Homosexual agenda.
Is that picture during the National Anthem?
Not precisely. They knelt prior to the anthem, then stood for the anthem.
This photo of them kneeling was taken in England, so they did this there, which is still infuriating, and it was a response to President Trump in particular.
Here is the article from which the photo is linked-

It is from ABC so not sure how much, if any, of it is actually true.
