No ratings are yet available for CNNs 7-hour climate hysteria town hall, but it is hard to believe that a lot of people watched. Masochists are not a huge demographic slice of the population, and as for the true believers, well, it does burn a lot of electricity to spend 7 hours in front of the boob tube. My guess is that CNN had even fewer viewers than usual for its evening.
So, who on earth would buy commercials during such a broadcast? Did CNN offer really deep discounts?
If one were going to predict which segments of the population would be least attracted to hour upon hour of haranguing over their immoral use of air conditioning, air travel and meat-laden diets, surely the target demographics of the commercials that followed Pete Buttigiegs 40 minute segment (in which he said, its kind of a sin to not act on climate change) would be among them.
Zach Parkinson, Deputy Director of Communications - Research for Trump 2020 captured the abusrdity in a tweet:
2020 Dems: big business, air travel, and meat are all to blame for the climate crisis.
CNN: Tonight's town hall brought to you by Invesco, Priceline, and Golden Corral's endless meat buffet!

DOH! Double tap!
Texas Roadhouse is the standard for a reasonably priced, good food steakhouse.
I didn’t know it was on. I never watch CNN, in fact I have it and MSNBC blocked on my TV.
We just picked it out from several possibilities we drove past. Chose it because, after all, we were in Texas. So glad we did. Wish they were up here in the Pacific Northwest.
That Townhall was actually seven hours long? I thought it would last an hour maybe an hour and a half at most. What a colossal waste of time. And if they were so worried about global warming, where they have all the democrat candidates fly to one location, instead of doing it via the Internet.
Skype? Telecon?
Ooops, there is a Texas Roadhouse in ID, 32 miles from my house in Spokane. Doable.
So i can go on a permanent luxury vacation and travel the world for $2,500/month
hmmmm...
Pffffttttt! Get yourself (s)elected and you can be on luxury vaca forever and get paid for it.
One just opened a mile down the street here in MA.
Looks like i gotta check it out.
Let me know what you think. I hope TX Roadhouse is as good away from TX as it is in TX.

Clown hall.
Look around, we have one in Coeur D’Alene, ID.
We have one about 15 miles from us in Wisconsin and I really like it. I just wish they were open for lunch.
The last segment of The Journal Editorial Report is "Hits & Misses." Last week one of the panelists chose as her "msss" the upcoming CNN climate change program. Paul Gigot jokingly told her that he was going to make her watch the whole thing.
Watched most of the global warming climate change crisis catastrophe existential threat DNC infomercial on CNN last night.
It was a nice salute to all the comrades who believe in global warming being pretty much only caused by white Americans. My favorite part was when Mother of Dragons Kamala Harris lectured on how the planet is doomed then laughed and cackled about how paper straws suck and we need to ban cheeseburgers.
Watch this stuff!! It’s funny as hell!! You will never see bigger HIPPOcrits than these 10 dolts. Commie Bernie says we have to save the planet, then jumps in a private plane right after to jet to one of his four homes somewhere or a foix gras fundraiser. Green for thee, but not for me!
One question I was waiting for: If the sea levels are rising due to melting glaciers and man-made global warming, why did the Obamas just buy a $15-million dollar spread on Martha’s Vineyard right at sea level?? Isn’t that a special kind of stupid??
I want the 1970s back when we only had to deal with global cooling and the next Ice Age fear-mongering!
Biggest scam, swindle, hustle of our lifetimes!!
Straws are patriotic. Our Revolutionary War ancestors had to drink their tea with a straw after King George III put tacks in the tea.
