Reading this has led me to lose respect for Herridge. Note her careful use of the phrase: "Republicans said". It is repeated several times in the article.

This is an obvious attempt to subtly turn this story from a fact based report of Deep State corruption into simply a partisan accusation.

I had always thought of Herridge as one of the more straight down the line reporters at Fox News. She's either been "talked to" by the new liberal leaders at Fox, or she's letting her bias finally show through.

Of course she is going to say Republican in the article. It sure wasn’t Democrats who wanted to investigate this attempted coup.

This is not bias it is fact. Are you so afraid of the truth that a reporter (well respected and non-political) cannot even use the actual name of the actual party, that the REPUBLICANS in Congress are looking into this coup.

She has seemed solid to me in the past, too. This could be an “fair and balanced” fox editor putting their corporate fingers on the scales.
