While I adore the Law, my freedom is in the Messiah. My life pretty much fulfills the Law, at least the literal interpretation of it. To live as a Noahide however is like eating the wrapper and tossing the candy. To delve deeper into modern Judasiam is a bit of a sad thing when the split caused by Rashi and the left turn back then against the Messianic.

I will let the Scriptures describe themselves and take the wisdom of the Rabbis where it fits. I do not need them to define the Sabbith and the Messiah away along with cheese burgers.

So Noahide to me is a sad thing, while beautiful as it contains precious jewels, it is sadly flawed, like a pearl necklace after having been run over by a car with missing and defaced pearls.

That being said, the Chabad, the ones who came up with the Noahide laws are by far my favorite flavor of faithful Jew.

They truly live the life of Mitzvah or good deeds by an awsome application of will. What’s not to respect in a life of Hesed, kindness?

They I will gladly serve as a Shabbos Goy, just to give them a break. They deserve it. Chabad has greatly increased my knowledge of God and respect. A priceless gift is the sod or beginning layers of understandings of the Word to a goy.

The Jew who loves God has so much to offer, if they would but obey and offer it.

Thank you for the answer. You seem to be the only one that even knows about the Noahide laws.

A priceless gift is the sod or beginning layers of understandings of the Word to a goy. The Jew who loves God has so much to offer, if they would but obey and offer it.

Many people, including myself, find being called 'goy' offensive.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well." - Jesus

"Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore no one will be justified in His sight by works of the law. For the law merely brings awareness of sin. But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets. And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. " - Paul writing in Romans

Religious Jews, devout Jews, so-called good Jews who are not Believers in Messiah Jesus - are lost Jews! When it comes to things of God, why a Christian would have any interest in the teaching of those who reject Christ makes no sense.

“...the Chabad, the ones who came up with the Noahide laws....”

Uh, they didn’t come up with the Noahide laws, they’re merely telling people about what is already in the Bible. Oh, and I have heard that Jesus said words to the effect that “not one jot or tittle of the Law is to be changed” - meaning that what is in the Bible concerning Noah (specifically including the Noahide laws that were expounded by God) is still valid under Christian theology (and, of course, under Jewish theology).

Another way for people to think about the Noahide laws is that it is God’s way of telling everyone, rather explicitly, that if you simply behave in a certain way, there is a place for you in Heaven. These laws don’t require that one believe in Judaism, only that you treat your fellow human beings and animals in a humane and decent manner. IOW, Judaism is inclusive - there is no “believe in what we say, or you’re going to burn in Hell” nonsense, let alone “believe in what we say or we’ll cut off your heads and rape your wives and daughters” nonsense.

But of course one could never gather such facts from an article by the anti-religious NY Slimes of Israel.

Oh, and I am not a Noahide - I am Jewish (though no scholar by any means).
