I just remember my OB telling me that IF my husband was taking that particular drug I wasn’t even to handle the pills.

Sound like something you’re willing to take?

FOR TWO DECADES I have thought it didn’t work.

I could have had more hair!!!

I took an antidepressant after a brain injury and it was an old tri-cyclic.

I started to notice that my right breast was getting bigger than my left.

And it was kind of fatty.

Sure enough, a side effect of the med was getting women’s breasts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know the scientific name for it but I immediately stopped it and began doing bench presses Furiously!!!

It’s not very noticeable but weight lifting and even dieting won’t get rid of what’s left.

Only surgery.

SMFH

Maybe i’m the only one that notices it but that’s enough.

TMI!!!!! :)

I always said i was an open book.

Let’s look at the bright side of this: GEICO executives are probably reading the story and already putting plans in place for a series of “Baby GEICO Caveman” commercials.

Thanks. Now I know what name to use when i curse it.

I am SURE that if I hadn’t paid attention my right breast would be good enough for a strip club by now! :)

I do a Hundred small bench reps a day about 4 times a week hoping to get rid of the remaining tissue but docs say it doesn’t work that way.

SMH

Like I said, maybe what’s left is only noticeable to me but that’s enough!

actually, while it probably wouldn’t be good for a pregnant woman, the stated danger was to the sexual wellbeing of the kiddo.

That even handling the pills would be bad for the baby’s outcome.

Interesting... these kids grew body hair(!) after drinking, orally ingesting, Minoxidil?

So, instead of topically applying Minoxidil, if you drink the stuff ...

hmmm ... and maybe mix it with some colloidal silver, too, ...

Finasteride (propecia) is not recommended for pregnant women or those who could become pregnant in the future because it can cause birth defects. Minoxidil is not the same as propecia.

I guess the medication worked for the depression? Now your focused on exercise to get rid of your manboob.
Your story made me chuckle... Thanks for sharing.

I never mind a chuckle at my expense. :)

Like Sammy Davis said “if they’re laughing at ya, that means you still matter”. Or some such thing he said at his roast :)

I actually took Wellbutrin because it increases dopamine levels that docs though had been decreased due to head injury.

It worked VERY well and I will be on it forever because without enough dopamine there’s just some things you can’t do.

And i’ll leave it at that!! :)
