During the Obama Administration, his appointees intervened in the bankruptcy proceedings for GM. They violated, the laws governing which debtors had to paid first, to screw bond holders - and to give the Democratic Party hacks that run the United Auto Workers majority control of GM.
They have rapidly followed Chinese industrial policy since, ripping production out of the USA, and shipping production and technology to China.
Just this week, the homes of the head of that union, the former head, and multiple sites of theirs were raided by police.
Not only are they massively corrupt, they are at heart traitors to their country.
GM is run by a woman. What do woman know about cars? How many women mechanics do you know?
They sell more cars in China (3.6 million) than they do in the U.S. (3 million). Of course the manufacturing plants will be there.
I left GM after 30 years of utter cr*p cars. I cheered when they declared bankruptcy. I gasped as Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota boy successfully broke laws in order to bail out this collection of pretend car makers.
