Former Canadian Prime Minister Kim Campbell said she is hoping for a bull’s-eye hit by Hurricane Dorian on Mar-a-Lago, President Trump’s prized Florida resort and so-called Winter White House.
“I’m rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago!” Campbell, who served as the 19th Canadian prime minister for less than five months in 1993, tweeted on Thursday.

I’m beginning to suspect that many politicians abuse illegal drugs. Something has to account for all the evil coming out of their mouths.

‘Cause she’d have preferred the corrupt one in poor health with a drinking problem to have been elected President. Just as she and her federal Progressive Conservative ilk wanted to give the Quebec separatists anything that they wished but no one else got. And that’s why many of us went to the Reform (later the Canadian Alliance) party and they never forgave us for that/

It is not as if Mar-a-Lago is unprepared for such an eventuality. There are no doubt redundant backup power generation systems and emergency response equipment right on the premises, and a fully operational “shelter-in-place” for staff and any guests that happen to be present.
This is not going to be Homestead, Florida, after Hurricane Andrew. The state building code requires a LOT more of structures there today.

I’m sure Dorian will only hit Mar-a-Lago and not touch anything else in around it.. Then there is the loss of work for hundreds at the resort and surrounding area. Idiot is the only word for this woman.

This witch must have missed the course section on “The Rule of Three”. Curses come back three fold on the one making the curse. Whatever hamlet she hangs her hat in ought to watch out this winter.
If Mar-a-Lago gets hit, Trump will just rebuild it. If Kim’s dumpster blows away, she’s out on the street.

After Andrew I went down to help friends clean up.
You have NO idea what utter devastation is like.
It looked like a nuke was dropped. My friends lost ALL the plywood on their roof. YES, first the shingles blew off, then the tar paper, then the PLYWOOD. Then the rain brought all their ceilings down. Every window was blown out. They didn’t have power for TWO MONTHS. It was HELL. Imagine living here in Sept. with no power. I don’t know about you, but I can’t sleep soaking wet.
All we did was shovel wet drywall out the windows on to plywood sheets and drag it to the street. There was a 30 ft high pile of refuse lining all the streets. The national guard was at every intersection. We got food and water at churches kind of like a giant neighborhood get together/bbq. It was incredibly sad.
But my point is if the bldg. codes were followed, the roofs may not have blown off.
In the middle of this nightmare was one house. It had every opening professinally shuttered and that house barely lost a shingle. It was bizarre.
I don't know; she sounds pretty tacky to me.
I have worked in Canada, have worked all over the world for Canadian companies, and have many Canadian friends, and I cannot recall this prime minister! And I can name a half-dozen off the top of me head, Eh?
