I will also make an admission. Back in the 60’s I dressed up like a chick and went all over the neighborhood. A lot of people saw me do it.

But, I was 10 and it was Halloween. I haven’t done any cross dressing since that night.

I must confess that I also am a white supremacist.

In the 1980s, I and two others were in a Halloween costume talent contest. We performed as Diana Ross and the Supremes, with a full song and dance routine, wearing floor length ball gowns, long white gloves and jewelry. Yes, and “black face” on our faces and arms to darken our skins (as I remember, Diana Ross and the Supremes were black).

And what’s worse, only one of us was a woman (performing as Diana Ross). The other two of us backup singers/dancers in ball gowns were men.

So not only were we racist, we were obviously homophobic and making fun of trans-people.

Oh yeah, we won the contest.
