Most of us have known for a long time that Comey would not be prosecuted over the memos. He was after all an Original Classification Authority which means that assessing classified information levels was part of his job.
Most likely he will not be charged but until investigations are complete and recommendations assessed, no one will know for sure. So people can either shite-post nonsense and thrown tantrums and make ultimatums or they can wait like mature adults and see what happens.
We concluded he did it.
We will not prosecute.
He wants an apology because they have no evidence.
Of course.
Shocked, not.
What good is Barr and the DoJ?

Barr is not going to prosecute anyone. All the “Hillary need should be in jail” rhetoric during the campaign was just that. Saw that one coming with the “lock her up was fine for the campaign but now we need to move on” statement right after the inauguration. NO ONE had any intention of making anyone pay for what was done.

I’m hopeful that Barr will prosecute these scoundrels on more important charges, but why not just role this lesser crime (leaking) up with treason/sedition?
The more likely scenario is that this corruption is so massive and high reaching that it is being walled off at a sub-director level because Comey, Brennan, Clapper, et al. know it leads to the Oval and Trump fears a Bamster indictment coming out before the election...

So if I leak classified information that my companies stock is going to split because of new technology or will be bought out by Warren Buffet, my azz is going to jail but if our own FBI director leaks classified materials, he’s bad but he’s free?....sounds fair to me...(sarcasm)

Yep at this point I predict nobody of any import gets indicted or tried. Raise your hand if you really thought anybody would serve time. Its not happening.

They were right. The coverup WAS coming. The absolution WAS coming.
And it came.
If he won’t prosecute the people who ran a coup against him (Hillary and Obama) and who sold uranium to Russia, and tied up the government for 30 months on bogus charges, why would he prosecute this guy?
Trump gets a a big F- on equal justice and rule of law.
