Not sure what the bottom line is here. You would desert your post and go AWOL at the moment of greatest peril?

I like and respect you, Buckeye. If you are a good Catholic --- and I'm guessing you are --- how would your leaving improve the Church?

Did you think, on the day of your Confirmation, you were facing a future without moral peril, and the heroic virtues of the Sacrament would not be needed?
