Our local Chinese restaurant was shut down by the health department when they were caught scrapping leftover food from peoples plates back into the buffet bins

Chinese don’t waste food gotta give them that.

I saw workers chopping meat outdoors on the cement slab behind a local Chinese Buffet. It has been shut down and gone out of business several times. Comes back as "new owners," who also get shut down on their second failed inspection.

My second Thai wife got sick within 30 minutes of eating there. It took 3 hours for me to be sick. We never went back.

The meat chopping incident was a few years and a couple owners later.

Same here at all local Chinese Restaurant due infestation of Cockroaches (alive, dead or nest). I lost my appetite for eating out due to this. Now roaches have moved on to Sandwich Shops and Mexican Restaurants.

You would be shocked how many restaurants have never seen the health department. They have very few inspectors so they limit their drive time to restaurants near their offices. If your favorite restaurant is more than 30 miles from the office, it’s a good bet it is rarely inspected if ever.
