This is a tad off topic, but I just looked at Drudge and the economic doom and gloom and then I see stuff like this article and I honestly believe a number of very powerful people have decided they need to do whatever it takes to make sure Trump in not reelected. I believe that could mean taking steps to intentionally encourage the markets to collapse. The rich and political class will protect themselves because they will know it's coming.

If you look through my posts you will see I am the LAST person who puts forth this kind of thing, but at this point it's getting out of control. Powerful people are talking the economy into a recession.

This is just the “preseason”, as it were. It’s going to get much more vicious and I wouldn’t be surprised to see physical sabotage on certain pieces of our infrastructure.

If the powers that be that hate Trump do manage to push us into depression, do you think that Trump supporters will jump ship and vote for the democrat? I just can’t see people leaving Trump and voting for the Democrat, but then I could be wrong, I often am.
