Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson, who worked in the White House under former President George W. Bush, said the Trump presidency is “unraveling.”
Gerson bashed President Trump in his latest column published Thursday. Bush’s top aide and director of presidential speech writing outlined a series of attacks against Trump and his policies from immigration and foreign policy to the president’s unpredictable rhetoric.
"The Trump presidency is not just unfolding, it is unraveling. All narcissists believe they are at the center of the universe," Gerson wrote. "But what happens when a narcissist is actually placed at the center of the universe? The 'chosen one' happens."

Well, I was speaking to basic, personally defensive, motivation.
(What they fail to understand is a whole ‘nother Universe ;-)
When someone seizes upon the humorously sarcastic throwaway line, I’m the chosen one,” as evidence that Trump’s presidency is unraveling, that’s all you need to know to disregard the entire piece.
I was once a huge supporter of the Bush Presidents and put my money where my mouth was. The fact that they wouldn’t stand strong against the leftist lie machine nauseated me.
You’re too easy on Bush
Bush’s problem wasn’t that he failed to defend his policies, including the Iraq war. His problem was the policies themselves. Many were literally disastrous
Re Iraq for instance, Trump called Bush’s invasion of Iraq the stupidest foreign policy decision in modern US history. And Trump was right. Bush created such a mess there that US officials incur the president still can’t safely visit - 16 years after we invaded

Why do people deliberately slander the president? It is harmful to patriotic Americans.

If the powers that be that hate Trump do manage to push us into depression, do you think that Trump supporters will jump ship and vote for the democrat? I just can’t see people leaving Trump and voting for the Democrat, but then I could be wrong, I often am.
George Bush is high on the list of worst Presidents.

One thing I have always liked about President Trump is that has all the right enemies.

I watched several clips of this guy from Election Night 2016 as a guest panelist on one of the major networks. As the night wore on and it was becoming more apparent that Trump was going to be elected, he had a look and a demeanor that I’d expect to see from someone whose house had just been burned to the ground.
IMO damn near everything that is a legacy of ALL the Bushes is a steaming pantload.

This guy is jealous. Trump’s speeches are infinitely better than W’s.
Imagine what it would have been like under Jeb! A whole government department to attend to the needs of illegals.
