Bill Barr’s Test – U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu Punts McCabe Indictment Decision Back to Main Justice…
CONSERVATIVE TREEHOUSE ^ | 8/26/2019 | SUNDANCE

Everyone has been looking for a moment where we can determine the intents and motivation of U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr. Well, here is one…

According to reporting today from the New York Times, Washington DC U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has punted the decision on whether to indict former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe back to Main Justice, via Deputy AG Jeffrey Rosen.

All of our prior research into the DC U.S. Attorney’s office, specifically toward Jessie Liu, has identified her as -essentially- Rod Rosenstein in a skirt. Attorney Liu’s DC office was responsible for not prosecuting the Awan Brothers; and also Liu’s office was responsible for covering up the leaking of the classified FISA application by SSCI Director of Security James Wolfe. Yes, covering it up – there is ZERO DOUBT.

Both cases were clear law-breaking, and both highly politically charged.

Today the Times is reporting on leaks from officials connected to the DC office of Ms. Liu, framing her deference of the McCabe indictment back to Main Justice.

Two former DC prosecutors who were involved in the McCabe decision are mentioned by name in the NYT reporting: former lead prosecutor Ms. Kamil Shields, and also former prosecutor David Kent. It would be interesting to see if Shields and/or Kent were also involved in the Awan case or the James Wolfe case.

There is one, and only one, correct answer for Barr. Fire Ms Liu and prosecute McCabe. Anything else is a statement of which team Barr is on.

She passed the buck for political reasons.

President Trump should fire her if she can't do the job.

Could be a test.

Send them a case where it’s clear cut and they aren’t being pressured by anyone else and see how they react.

“Attorney Liu’s DC office was responsible for not prosecuting the Awan Brothers; and also Liu’s office was responsible for covering up the leaking of the classified FISA application by SSCI Director of Security James Wolfe.”

Corrupt to the core.

Hi.

Seems to me the DOJ is not in control. Or anyone else for that matter.

And Congress doesn’t care if there was an attempted coup (to say the least).

Two sets of rules. One for me, the other for thee.

Methinks this stuff you find in banana republics.

Imho, if justice for one is not the same justice for the other, bullets will start flying.

Not only did they not prosecute Awan, they released a crazy statement saying what a great fellow he is!

Definitely a Political Hit statement.

Just accessing the Servers post-employment should’ve been enough to prosecute Awan, who had much more going on.

This may not be an unusual approach to a case like this. Since an FBI agent is employed by the DOJ, wouldn’t it be normal for a U.S. Attorney to hand off any decision about an indictment to the AG’s office? And wouldn’t the Deputy AG — not the AG — be the primary point person in a case like this ... because FBI oversight is one of the specific roles of the Deputy AG?

Posted here a week back that government lifer pukes have one and only one real skill which is the art of how to cover their butts.

They spend their entire working lives watching and learning from other lifers how to deflect responsibility to a weaker party and then lower a ring of false accountability on the unknowing. It’s sickening. That’s how they rise through the ranks and we eventually end up with an incompetent group of senior government officials.

I wrote Horowitz would write to appease both ends of the political spectrum and is therefore useless. As the useless turds these government lifers are, we can only rely on our President to proceed with the declas and nail these bastards to the wall.

Agree. Indict him. Put him on trial, regardless of the outcome in the
Liberal jury pool city of DC.
