Maybe, but that doesn’t make up for all the counterfeit parts sold on eBay. Try a counterfeit minimalist MFT ar15 stock for 10 bucks vs the real thing at 50 bucks as a quick example. They are sold as the real thing but they are like Mattel toys by some Chicom with a 3D printer. They get your 10 US dollars and you get a piece of crap that won’t last 10 minutes at the range.
If I know I am buying a Chinese gun, it’s on me. Counterfeit parts are on them.
My point is not everything they build is crap, like the Norinco plant. Not many manufacturers square the barrels up to the action with a robot who presses it perfectly into place with .0002” of runoff. I was a competition shooter in my younger days, running almost exclusively the Kalashnikov platform. My mak90 has been rebarelled after I shot away it’s rifling over 16 or so years. Anyone who calls Norinco crap has no idea what they’re talking about. Polytech as well.
