No matter what the issue this woman will side with the radical leftists. Its never a question, never. Any oral arguments before her are a complete waste of time so automatic are her rulings. The cause is all that matters to this horrible woman. She will proxy her vote from hospice if necessary
The pancreatic duct and the common bile duct from the liver both pass through the head of the pancreas where they join and empty into the intestinal tract. The pancreas organ is gel-like and it secretes by design therefore cancer cells are easily transmissible making it an insidious form of lethal type carcinoma.
Over/Under? 4 months
Nah.
They don't have access to her records AND it is IMPOSSIBLE that her medical team is giving background information.
Being a pancreatic cancer oncologist at MSKCC means you have climbed the greasy pole without making a mistake. Leaking to the press and getting caught means transitioning to private practice in New Jersey or some other horrible place - the medical equivalent of flying rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong for a Naval aviator.
People with this cancer can live a while with a stent. Its effects are local (like blocking the pancreatic or bile ducts), it doesn't usually cause widespread metastatic disease, and until it invades the bowel, it just sort of grows slowly.
Predicting the end of RBG's tenure on the court is interesting, but those who know won't say, and those who say, don't know.
This article is for me very disconcerting.
A good friend, ex college room mate, has been having problems and repeated treatment for bile duct stents. He told me the stent was daamaged and had to be replaced.
Plastic? The are used where the patient is not expected to live.
He has not mentioned cancer, but his liver is shot from years and years of drinking
They will do everything to artificially extend her life until after Nov primary my take.
Then SCOTUS becomes the next democrat battle cry.
"As part of her treatment, a bile duct stent was placed. The Justice tolerated treatment well. She cancelled her annual summer visit to Santa Fe, but has otherwise maintained an active schedule. The tumor was treated definitively and there is no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body. Justice Ginsburg will continue to have periodic blood tests and scans. No further treatment is needed at this time."
There are very few people in the world I would wish worsening health problems on...and RBG is not one of them...especially cancer.
But I do want her to step down because of her medical problems.
Her last breath will be my new ringtone.
Just read this over at GP and had to share it.
Buzzy needs to hang on until slow Plugs can miraculously heal her or cancer when hes the president.
To paraphrase Pogo, I have seen the circling vultures, and they are us.
They don’t have access to her records AND it is IMPOSSIBLE that her medical team is giving background information.
Any doctors here who can explain what “treated definitively” means in this context?
I suspect the next thing we hear is that she has Liver cancer...I’ll give odds.
You’re right, she is a fighter. She’s been “sick” for a long time, and is trying to hang on. She’s hanging on until the democrats can replace her with another flaming democrat.
She needs to retire to spend more time with her remaining organs...
A good buddy, who happens to be a surgeon specializing in pancreatic procedures, told me that cutting a pancreas is similar to making incisions in a cube of butter.
Maybe this partially explains the 5% survival rate?
The key word in that statement is "elsewhere."
I have lost people close to me due to cancer. I do not wish this on RBG or anyone else. I hope her passing is peaceful.
what treated definitively means
Perhaps misquoted by an idiot journalist. It should be written as definitely treated. LOL
