AND...I had to do a roadside repair...the chain guard broke and was scraping the drive belt. The screeching was unbearable. I stopped the bike, removed the guard and threw it in the saddlebag.
I will have to weld it or perhaps replace it. It’s not essential till next spring inspection time, as my saddlebags cover the drive belt and effectively protect it, but it is required for inspection every May.
In My Jacket, Helmet, and wraparound glasses, doing a roadside was REALLY HOT.
