P and G lost a ton of money and goodwill for this nonsense. Women who don’t buy the Gillette line carried the insults into not buying Comet Cleanser, Ivory Soap, and P and G stuff they purchase.
This is a disaster. They think that some Aussie firefighter talking like Crocodile Dundee will undo this. It won’t.
Their only saving grace is the timing. If they showed those ads during the NFL or college football, the loss would have been three times bigger.
