Black Conservative Confronts Dem Candidates About Reparations, ‘Can I Have My Reparations Now?’
Turning Point USA’s Rob Smith approached 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls in a video posted Wednesday, asking whether he could get his reparations now.
Smith, an Iraq War veteran and “America’s favorite black gay Republican,” noted that every candidate he approached at the Iowa State Fair had voiced support for reparations for slavery.
Smith walked up to the candidates as they campaigned at the fair, first reminding them that they had voiced support for reparations and then immediately asking whether they were ready to put their money where their mouths were.
Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan was quick to clarify that he supported “a study” to determine whether reparations would be a reasonable solution, but Smith asked anyway, “Is there any way that I can have the money now? Like physically.”
Ryan laughed. “No,” he responded.

How about a bill revoking any tax exempt status to any organization that supported slavery. Then tax the democrats, and distribute to blacks through a fund. Any attempt to get rid of the fund will be racism.
Put a price on what every white taxpayer will have to pay and then vote on it. Fair?
Agreed..lets go back in the voting rolls 50 years and tax Every registered democrat so they can pay penance for their Democrat Party crimes.

Reparations?
Look. Anytime the subject of reparations comes up, it must be noted that reparations HAVE been made.
$22,000,000,000,000.00 in payment has been made.
That’s 22 Trillion Dollars.
Which equates to the cost of LBJ’s Great Society.
Which also coincidently also equates to our National Debt.

Smith misunderstood these candidates. Reparations won’t come from their personal pockets, it will come from other people’s pockets. Doesn’t he know that by now? As long as it comes from someone else these demonrats will promise the moon, sky and the whole damned universe. They just won’t be included when it times to pay the piper.
Odds are we all have ancestors who were enslaved and/or slaveowners, so we all break even. What a shallow meaningless scam! More symbolism over substance.
If reparations were to happen, the lion’s share of the money would end up in the pockets of racist advocacy groups (aka Race Hustlers) and bureaucrats who would run new govt bureaucracies that perpetuate racism and the racism industry. After consuming 90% of the money, these selected few will decide who are the most deserving aggrieved “victims” based purely along political and social justice lines. The infighting for the scraps would be epic.
Brilliant. And why stop there. Let us offer reparations for the women who could not vote before the ## amendment. Let us give reparations for the detainees of Japanese camps during WWII. On and on.
And while we are at it, let us ask for reparations for all the taxpayer money we spent on illegals, ghetto rat crimes, corruption, etc. The list can go on.
Well, I just want paid back for transportation, food and shelter and, paid some exorbitant fee for my kin folk who fought on the yankee side during CW I. I’ll be waiting by the mailbox.
Black Republicans don’t qualify for reparations. The whole idea is to buy the votes by the DemonicRats.
Those are very good odds.
I once suggest that we all stand in a circle and everyone hands the person on their left a quarter. All debts for ancestral bad acts would then be considered paid and we could get back to living our lives.

I was named after my great,great great grandfather whose father had arrived from Scotland 19 years earlier. He enlisted at 18 and fought in the Civil War.
I want reparations for that. He can’t comment because he is buried in Michigan.
And the list can go on.
