More than two and a half years after President Donald Trump assumed office, focus on actions taken during the 2016 presidential campaign is starting to shift toward the CIA and its former director, John Brennan.
While some observers, including this publication, have pointed out for more than a year that Brennan appears to have played a key role in the scandal that’s become known as Spygate, actions taken by Brennan and the CIA now appear to have become a central focus of investigators.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo that Justice Department (DOJ) Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz was “doing a very in-depth dive about the FISA warrant application” and “the behavior regarding the counterintelligence operation.”
Graham noted that he believed Horowitz’s report would be coming out in “weeks – not days, not months” and would prove to be “ugly and damning regarding the Department of Justice’s handling of the Russian probe.” Graham noted that the IG’s report has been delayed because “every time you turn around, you find something new.”
Graham said he wants the IG’s report to be as declassified as possible in order for the “American public to hear the story.”
Graham said that prosecutor John “Durham will be looking at criminality, did somebody violate the law” and Horowitz “will be telling us about the good, the bad, and the ugly, and what should be done internally,” and went so far as to mention exploring a possible restructuring of the DOJ.

This is the slowest developing movie plot in history, and if it doesn’t get to the chase part soon, I’m leaving the theater.
Months ago Giuliani called Brennan the QB of the entire Russian hoax and attempted coup. Trump already has all the facts. He knows what happened and how it happened.

Brennan was the one who got rid of inconvenient people and documents to make the Kenyanesian Usurpation possible.
I've always thought it obvious that Brennan, Clapper, and Comey conspired with Hillary and Obama to concoct this treason.

I was trying to shoehorn your sentence into the discussion and it just wasn’t working, lol
While it is necessary to flesh out the entire story of the failed coup, it is also wasting time politically. To time the exposure of this treason for effective damage in 2020 indictments must be brought soon. And it will take indictments because anything less will be ignored by the MSM. Starting with Comey’s role in lying to the FISA court would get the ball rolling. But it’s become obvious that this was a Counter Intelligence operation which by definition necessitates the knowledge of the President so Obama is in it up to his eyebrows. And who above Christopher Steele was using him for anti-Brexit motives?

All well and good. I hear Bartiromo and Hannity asking who is the brain behind all this counter-intel operation. Of course Sen. Graham, John Solomon nor Sara Carter, etc. are going out on that limb. ...fools rush in: certainly there is ample evidence that the Hildebeest is solidly behind the effort in the main; but frankly she does not have the brain power to have schemed such a mammoth international covert operation. She may have come up with the idea - and at least some of the financing - but the planning needed an experienced slime ball, one who could cross all the bridges between the various operational cells.
My wild guess goes to none other than Sidney Blumenthal, for various reasons I won't go in to now. He has tentacles that could span all the bridges.
The popcorn still tastes good, though.
Brennan’s just one of the culprits, and his activities are only one front.
Unlike a lot of people on this forum I don't want this to be resolved this year. By all means issue indictments this fall but the trials should only start in the middle of 2020 in the run up to the election. Think of the damage to the Democrats when a number of trials are ongoing in the middle of the presidential election.. The best dramas build slowly !
